Attach the front apron pieces to the top with some wood glue and nails, then flip the whole thing over.. Chris cut these little triangles out of some scrap wood and used those along with some wood glue and nails to attach the leg pieces on.
I did the most boring, unimaginative thing to it: I painted it white and stuck on some new hardware, and I couldn’t be happier with it.. And the white? It’s not even a cool distressed chalk-paint antique white, in fact it’s the opposite.

I went completely un-trendy and did it in a super duper glossy shiny bright white..I needed that.. Here’s how it looked before:.Don’t you love how much junk fell out of the drawers in just the one year we’ve been here?

We don’t even use this dresser that much, in fact it’s going to be going upstairs into the room we’ve just started working on..It was given to us by a friend who was moving a couple of years ago and we were just holding on to it until we got around to fixing it up..

Living in this house that’s mostly kind of trashed, hasn’t been renovated for about 30-40 years in a lot of the rooms, with all these dark finishes that never seem to be really clean kind of gets to me sometimes.
Or a lot of the time..Wiping everything down with bathroom cleaner is almost useless because so much of that dust and fur just gets smeared around.
Giving everything a quick once-over with a vacuum and a soft brush attachment makes the job of actually wiping down everything in the bathroom so much quicker and easier!.I’ve always used a lint roller for my lampshades, but now my huge supply of refills is starting to come to an end.
Thank goodness this vacuum arrived just in time!It makes the job just as quick and easy AND I don’t have to keep peeling away the sticky layers every few seconds on the lint roller.. Curtains, Drapes, and Blinds.
